Is there a correct way to cope with the grief of losing a loved one?

Everybody is different, therefore each person grieves in a different way and at a different pace. However, in general, the more support one receives, the easier the grieving process. Being able to talk about your feelings is usually very helpful. As painful as it can be, experts agree that grieving at the time (or shortly after) of the death is necessary, otherwise the grief may stay bottled up inside of you, and can cause emotional and/or physical illness in the future.
