Every state has it’s own Board of Funeral Directors – they investigate grievances, and disciplinary actions among other official duties. You can search online for your state’s Board, and the National Funeral Director’s Association (NFDA) has a master list on their site as well.
Most state Board of Funeral Directors have websites set up with excellent resources for consumers, as well as for students and funeral care providers.
